Zaltbommel,15 June 2010 - As from 1 July 2010, Mark Cockings will be the new Managing Director of Qurius UK while Jan Druppel will start as Managing Director of Qurius Belgium on the same date. Both have extensive track records in the ICT industry, strong commercial drives and the right experience and ambition to bring Qurius to the next level in each country.


Sales driven and strategic insight
Before joining Qurius, Mark Cockings (1969) built an extensive career at IBS AB, where he held the position of Senior Vice President Strategy & Development since January 2009. He started working for IBS in 1996,held various positions, including the posts of Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, Area President Central Europe and Global Business Development Director andhas been a member of the overall Group Management since 2004.

An entrepreneur at the wheel
Jan Druppel (1967) has been General Manager of the Software Division of Systemat Group in Belgium and Luxemburg since 2002, where his manageriel skills and keen market insight have resulted into doubling the turnover of the division in the market. Before he started working for Systemat Group, he had set up his own software company Q&A NV, which he managed from 1996until 2002.

Qurius Belgium has expertise semi process industry (Food, Pharma and Chemicals), Waste Management & Recycling, Installation & Maintenance companies and Member organizations and has offices in Ghent (Sint-Martens-Latem) and Antwerp (Kontich). Managed by Mr Druppel, Qurius Belgium will focus on market leadership in its field, by means of organic growth and possible acquisitions.

Goedemorgen,

Afgelopen zaterdag stond er een mooi stuk in het Brabants Dagblad over Leen Zevenbergen. Hij zegt dat hij de aandeelhouders toch echt belangrijk vindt en geeft toe dat die de laatste jaren niet verwend zijn. Hopelijk gaat hij daar snel iets aan doen.

Ik zit al geruime tijd in het aandeel Q elke keer weer opnieuw hoop richting de cijfers wachten op nieuws wachten op .........
Ik hoop dat het geduld op den duur iets oplevert????????

Jan Druppel nieuwe Managing Director Qurius België

Per 1 Juli 2010 wordt Jan Druppel de nieuwe Managing Director van Qurius België. Dhr. Druppel heeft reeds een indrukwekkend parcours afgelegd in de ICT-branche. Zijn sterke commerciële drive gekoppeld aan de juiste ervaring en ambitie, vormen de ideale mix om Qurius België naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

Dhr. Druppel (1967) was sinds 2002 actief als Managing Director bij de softwaredivisie van de Systemat Group in België en Luxemburg. Mede door zijn managementvaardigheden en scherpe marktinzicht werd de omzet van deze divisie meer dan verdubbeld. Voor zijn functie bij de Systemat Group leidde Dhr. Druppel van 1996 tot 2002 zijn eigen softwarebedrijf Q&A NV.

Qurius België focust zich voornamelijk op de semi-procesindustrie (voeding, farmacie en chemie), de milieusector, installatie- & servicebedrijven en ledenorganisaties. Gestuurd door Dhr. Druppel streeft Qurius België ernaar om marktleider te worden in deze domeinen, zowel door meer expertise aan te trekken als door mogelijke overnames.

Qurius Belgium has closed a new deal with Egemin Automation. With its head office based in Zwijndrecht and 8 other branches throughout Europe, North America and Asia, Egemin employs about 550 people and has an annual return of 80 million euro.

Egemin supplies all-in industrial automation solutions for numerous applications in various industries. Their market is approached through 4 divisions, each with its own specific focus: Handling Automation, Life Sciences, Process Automation and Infra Automation.
