Mijn oplossing is zuiver CDA geinspireerd: allebei de opties een beetje. Bernanke deed de rest.
Zit short op sept/oct/nov 22 en ving redelijke premies. Aandelen worden gedeeltelijk bevroren door geschreven calls 12 en 16.Opbrengst geinvesteerd in lange deep in the money calls.

The yield difference, or spread, between 2-year notes and 30-year bonds increased to 3.02 percentage points on eased concern the economic recovery is stalling. It touched 2.99 percentage points yesterday, the narrowest since April 2009.

In a coup for the Kremlin, Russian oil major OAO Rosneft is close to acquiring stakes in four German refineries, marking one of the largest purchases of assets in western Europe by a state-controlled Russian energy company.

The deal would have positive implications for BP PLC, the U.K. oil major that has been badly hit by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Rosneft is in "advanced negotiations" to buy a 50% stake in Ruhr Oel GmbH from the Venezuelan state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela SA for between $1 billion and $2 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. These people said it could be several weeks before a deal is concluded.

Ruhr Oel is a 50-50 joint venture between PdVSA and BP.

Goedemiddag op deze dolle, dwaze dag.

Leuk de DJI op 10000+ en de S&P op 1050+ na dat
GDP macro. Verwachtingen flink neerwaarts bijstellen van 1,5% naar 1,3% de laatste dagen en als het dan 1,6% is juichend de markt hoger zetten. Gewoon een slecht cijfer.

Ben benieuwd wanneer dat analistenvolkje ontslagen gaat worden omdat ze er iedere keer naast zitten.

wat je verliest op de koers kun je sluiten met een terugkoop,dat is neutraal,je kan uhm opnieuw schrijven in een spike omhoog datwel weer.

Ik twijfel sterk: polici wisseling ?

optie 1: koop een aandeel RDS, geeft een optie 2012 Call 12 af van 9 euro, 1.32 dividend = 11 % en wacht op beter tijden om alles te sluiten.
Dubbeldipproof ! Je slaapt weer beter

optie 2: calls 21,50 : sep en 22 oct/nov/dec schrijven met een redelijke premie. Hogere winst, maar vaak koppijn.

De 10000 op de DJI en de 1050 op de S&P worden verdedigd tot de hele meute er met uitgeklopte zakken bij neervalt na die belabberde US macro's van de laatste dagen/tijd.

Better than expected wordt van stal gehaald in het spaarzame geval dat de uitgebeende voorspellingen alsnog gehaald dan wel verbeterd worden.

Kon gisteren niet, dus werd er een nieuwe bijgehaald
oversold bounce.

Vind het mooi, de zaak gaat alsmaar schever staan.

Aug. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Natural gas for January delivery is trading at the smallest premium to September futures in seven years as traders speculate that economic growth will slow.

January futures, covering the period when North American heating demand typically peaks, were 63.3 cents higher today than gas for September delivery. That compares with an average spread of $1.57 over the past 10 years. The difference is the narrowest for the day since the summer of 2003, when stockpiles indicated ample winter inventories.

Gas consumption by factories, steel mills and chemical plants during the recession last year tumbled to 16.82 billion cubic feet a day, the lowest level since at least 1991, Energy Department data show. Use will average 17.92 billion cubic feet a day this year compared with 18.17 billion in 2008, according to department estimates.

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Royal Dutch Shell PLC's (RDSB) 400,000 barrels a day Pernis refinery in Rotterdam is scheduled to undergo partial maintenance in September, a source familiar with matter told Dow Jones Newswires Wednesday.

Maintenance is expected to last around three weeks and will include work on the Netherlands' plant's hydrocracker and hydro-desulfuriser units, which are key to the production of distillate oil products, the source said.

The maintenance is likely to affect distillate supplies in Northwest Europe, the source added.

At today’s two-year Treasury auction, the securities drew a record low yield of 0.498 percent. The sale’s bid-to-cover ratio, which gauges demand by comparing total bids with the amount of securities offered, was 3.12, compared with an average of 3.19 at the past 10 auctions.

Yesterday’s $7 billion sale of 30-year Treasury Inflation Protected Securities, or TIPS, drew a yield of 1.768 percent, the lowest ever for sales of the debt dating to 1998. The bid- to-cover ratio was a record high 2.78.
